When we were compared to others, or told we're not good enough because our grades are bad

Or that we aren't pretty enough

Which created 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐞 in our bodies, keeping our nervous system dysregulated

That's why you often struggle with burnout or need the weekend to recuperate from your busy week

Or you're stressed most of the time, because your childhood memories are doing reruns in your subconscious, like Home Alone during the holidays

Now I'm not saying you don't need to be disciplined

Or not be in your masculine energy

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡

Feminine energy requires 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞, 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰

Masculine energy needs 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 & 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭

You need both to thrive in life

I like to create harmony with both my energies, 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫

When I pray 5 times a day, I feel productive & in flow

My feminine energy 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬 Allah to stay grounded & connected. That feeling of a Higher Power helps me feel safe

My Creator is better at providing for me than my father or husband

𝐇𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐞 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐲 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫

And I'm meant to experience unconditional love on Earth so I can step into my calling

So I use my prayers as the measuring stick for my masculine energy

When I pray on time, I imagine I'm speaking to little Rose, telling her how proud I am of her

That even though she was tired, hungry or busy she still found the time to pray

Because my feminine energy also wants to be 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 while my masculine wants 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐲

It connects me to Source & recharges me better than a trip to Harrods or a 5* brunch

And then I say “𝐑𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐢” (𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞) thousands of times a day

Or as many times as I can

I make sure to say it after each prayer & when I'm getting ready for bed

When I think about forgiveness, I don't perceive it from the sense that I'm
damned to hell

(𝐈𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜)

It's more of a 𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 between me and Allah

It encompasses 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲, 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 & 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

If I want everything I desire, I must learn the language of my Creator

Just like you have to learn English in school, Earth is my school of 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟

To walk with my gifts to make the world a better place so I can 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 Allah & go home to heaven

Allah’s language is 𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐲, 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬

He always adds & multiplies through these avenues

And Allah tells me if I want more wealth, abundance & good health, then I should ask for forgiveness

It's literally right there in the Quran in Surah Nuh (Chapter 71:10-12)

I've noticed the more I celebrate praying 5 times a day

I get really good at recognising other times I did well too

Like writing content, making reels, showing up for my clients, coaching

Or keeping my calm around my kids

As long as I've prayed, I'll always believe 𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐟𝐮𝐥 & 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞

So find something you've been doing consistently

It could be as small as making your bed in the morning

Imagine you're embracing your inner child & praising her for doing so well

Keep reminding yourself of that one thing you do, to overcome the 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 to feel productive or shame yourself for not doing enough

𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮
